In this lesson, we’ll be talking about the technical aspect of categorization – when and where it happens, how it’s tracked, how the categorization data makes its way to the data warehouse.

AB-test categorization

To categorize a user for an AB-test means to assign this user a variation of the AB-test. This is why we imagine that this association between AB-test variations and users could be stored in a data warehouse like this:
