Let’s open the chapter about Product Analytics for mobile apps with the analysis of the previous exercise. The goal of the exercise was to estimate the release date of a certain mobile app version.

Such a question “When something appeared for the first time or started to happen?” is very common for many business processes:

  • launch of marketing campaigns
  • product releases
  • bugs (the notion of when the bug was introduced could help to identify the root cause)
  • etc
